この度、DRĒIPS初となるコットン×カシミアのシャツを販売することとなりましたので、本日はこれをご紹介したいと思います。
We are pleased to announce that DRĒIPS will be selling its first cotton × cashmere shirt. Today, We would like to introduce this to you.

昨シーズン展開し、お陰様で完売をしたフランネルコットンシャツ。再販希望の声を多数頂いていたのですが、残念ながら採用した生地が完売してしまい、再生産の予定がないと言うことで代わりとなる生地を探していました。
A flannel cotton shirt that was developed last season and sold out thanks to you. We had received many requests for resale, but unfortunately the fabric we used was sold out, and we were looking for a replacement fabric because they had no plans to reproduce it.

皆さまご存知の通り、DRĒIPSは『日本のアパレル生産技術を後世に残すことに貢献すること』をミッションの１つに掲げておりますので、インポート生地ではなく、可能な限り国産生地を利用したいと考えています。
One of DRĒIPS’ missions is to “contribute to the preservation of Japan’s apparel production technology for future generations,” so we would like to use Japanese fabrics instead of imported fabrics as much as possible.

しかし国内のモノづくりは生地等に限らず、様々な要因によって継続が厳しい状況に追い込まれています。私達が国内のテキスタイル業界に対するネットワークに長けていないこともありますが、国産の生地かつ、自分達の世界観にフィットする、納得のゆく生地を見つけることがかなり難しい。実際、コットンやリネンなど、年間を通して比較的高い需要を誇る生地は生産をしていても起毛生地等、シーズンが限定される生地は生産が終了しまっている場合が多く、理想の生地を見つけることが出来ていませんでした。
However, Japanese manufacturing is not limited to fabrics, etc., and various factors have forced it into a difficult situation to continue. It is partly because we habe not a networking with the Japanese textile industry, but it is quite difficult to find a fabric that is domestically produced and satisfactory and fits our style. In fact, fabrics such as cotton and linen, which are in relatively high demand throughout the year, are produced, but fabrics that are limited to a limited season, such as brushed fabrics, are often discontinued, and we have not been able to find the ideal fabric.

そのよう中で遠州織物を生産する静岡県西部エリアに位置する掛川市のテキスタイルメーカー「福田織物」さんにご相談してみたところ、フランネルコットンではないですが、コットン×カシミアの生地があると言うことで早速サンプルを取り寄せてみました。
In such a situation, we asked to Fukuda Textiles, a textile manufacturer in Kakegawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture, which produces Enshu textiles, if there were any good autumn/winter fabrics. Then, although it is not flannel cotton, thea said that there is a cashmere fabric × cotton, so we immediately ordered a sample.

すると、想像以上に素晴らしい生地であることが分かりました。色は上品なライトグレー。斜文線が特徴的なフランス綾の生地で、フランネルほどではないですが、微起毛していることから優しい風合いが感じられます。
When we checked the sample fabric ordered, we found that it was even better than we had imagined. The color is an elegant light gray. It is a French twill fabric with a characteristic oblique line, and although it is not as good as flannel, it has a gentle texture because it is slightly brushed.

また混率はコットンが93%、カシミアが7%となっており、カシミア混ならではのしっとりとした触り心地や落ち着きのある光沢感が大変魅力的。サンプルを手に取った瞬間、コレだ！ということで、この秋冬アイテムの生地として利用させて頂くことを即決したほどでした。
In addition, the blend ratio is 93% cotton and 7% cashmere, and the moist touch and calm luster unique to cashmere blend are very attractive. The moment we pick up the sample, we immediately decided to use it as a fabric for this fall and winter items.

毛足が長かったり、カシミアの混率が高かったりすると着用期間が限られてしまったり、価格が高価になってしまうのですが、この生地は微起毛故に着用期間を長くとることが出来ますし、カシミア混ながら価格も抑えることが出来るアドバンテージがありました。
If the fiber is long or the cashmere mixture is high, the wearing period will be limited and the price will be expensive, but this fabric can be worn for a long time because it is slightly brushed, and it has the advantage of being able to keep the price down even though it is mixed with cashmere.

唯一残念な点は継続生産を行っておらず、調達可能な生地は在庫分だけと言う制限が加わってしまったことです。よって今後再生産することは出来ませんので、リミテッドコレクションでの展開となります。
The only unfortunate thing is that they are not continuing production, and the only fabric that we can be procured is stock. Therefore, it cannot be reproduced in the future, so it will be developed in a limited collection.

今回採用したのはホリゾンタルカラー。DRĒIPSの中でも人気の高い襟型で、エレガントかつスポーティさを感じさせることが特徴です。
This time, we used a horizontal collar. It is one of the most popular collar types in DRĒIPS and is characterized by its elegant and sporty feel.

見るからにラグジュアリーな生地の質感を感じさせる表情のため、縫製はドレスシャツの仕様を適用しました。これによってステッチ幅などがリネン生地とは異なっており、スポーティさの中にドレッシーな印象を与えるように設計しています。
Because of the look that makes you feel the texture of the luxurious fabric, the specifications of the dress shirt were applied for sewing. As a result, the stitching width is different from linen fabric, and it is designed to give a dressy impression while being sporty.

またパターンはアップデートを行った最新のパターンを用いていますので、襟腰の高さや袖丈の長さは初期のパターンから変更済み。ただし、ドロップショルダーや身幅、着丈等のサイジングに変更はありません。
In addition, the pattern uses the latest pattern that has been updated, so the height of the collar stand and the length of the sleeves have been changed from the initial pattern. However, there is no change in the sizing of the drop shoulder, body width, length, etc.

バックヨークに入れたたっぷりとしたギャザーは職人の感性によって入れていますので、１つずつ微妙に表情が異なります。カシミア混ならではの上品な光沢感としなやかな生地の質感が大変美しく表現されており、シャツ１枚でも美しく着用頂けます。
The generous gathers in the back yoke are put in according to the sensibility of the craftsman, so the expression is slightly different from one to one. The elegant luster and supple texture of the fabric unique to cashmere blend are expressed very beautifully, and you can wear it beautifully even with one shirt.

ボタンにはドレスシャツに用いられる白蝶貝を採用しました。透き通るような白い輝きを発する白蝶貝にも負けない生地の上質さがあるため、白蝶貝のボタンとコットン×カシミア生地のバランスがとても良いと思っています。We think the balance between the white-lipped pearl oyster shell buttons that emit a transparent white shine and the cotton × cashmere fabric is very good.
The buttons are made of white-lipped pearl oyster shells, which are used for dress shirts.

生地、仕立てともにドレスシャツとしても通用する質感に仕上がっていますので、ネクタイをする必要のないパーティシーンやドレス度の高い装いをする必要があるシーンから日常まで、幅広くカバーしてくれるはずです。
Both the fabric and the tailoring are finished in a texture that can be used as a dress shirt, so it should cover a wide range of occasions, from party scenes where you don’t need to wear a tie or scenes where you need to wear a high dress degree to everyday life.

なお、今回はライトグレーに加えてもう１色、ブラックをご準備しました。ただブラックと言っても若干チャコールグレーが混ざったような、墨色っぽいブラックであることが特徴的です。
This time, in addition to light gray, we have prepared one more color, black. However, even though it is black, it is characterized by an inky black that looks like a slight mixture of charcoal gray.

この墨っぽい黒の出方が絶妙で、本当に雰囲気が良く仕上がっています。カシミア混と言うこともあるのだと思いますが、光が当たるとまろやかな、優しい表情を醸し出すのです。
The way this inky black color’s atmosphere is really good. It may be mixed with cashmere, but when the light shines on the fabric, it creates a mellow, gentle look.

ブラックは一般的にハードな印象を与えますが、このシャツは全く異なるイメージとなります。滑らかな質感の生地とあいまって、シックで上品な表情が魅力的。
Black generally gives a hard impression, but this shirt has a completely different image. Combined with the smooth textured fabric, the chic and elegant look is attractive.

とても色気を感じる雰囲気に仕上がっていますので、大人の方に着用頂ければ嬉しいです。
This shirt has a very sexy atmosphere, so we would be happy if adults wear it.

なお一部に手縫いを用いていますので、ご家庭で洗濯される場合には手洗いにて対応頂き、微起毛の生地のため、プレス時はあて布をして頂ければと思います。
Since some parts are hand-sewn, we recommend that you wash them by hand. Also, when ironing, please cover it with a cloth.
