DRĒIPS is a men’s wear brand that Creative based in Tokyo and do production in Japan. We position DRĒIPS as a brand between classic and mode, offering a relaxed elegant style for gentlemen.
I have enjoyed fashion with many brands and styles made domestically as well as foreign. And also, in the field of classic wear, I had bespoke a variety of items, including suits, jackets, shirts, shoes, and bags tailored by craftsmen from overseas and Japan.
With great respect for the passion and skill of craftsmen who have been passed down from generation to generation across borders, and valuing the essence of classic style, by reinterpreting them through the filter of DRĒIPS, I will deliver styles for a new era. And I also would like to contribute to the handing down of Japanese apparel production technology to future generations.
The brand name DRĒIPS is a coined word derived from “Drape” that gracefully wraps clothes etc. I want to express the elegance that is woven by layering relaxed and graceful drapes.
DRĒIPS（ドレイプス）は日本でクリエイティブ、生産を行う、メンズウェアブランドです。クラシックとモードの間のブランドとして位置づけ、大人の男性に向けたリラックス感のあるエレガントなスタイルをご提案します。
これまで国外、国内を問わず、様々なブランドやスタイルのファッションを楽しみ、クラシックウェアの分野においては海外、国内の職人の仕立てたスーツやジャケット、シャツ、靴、バックに至るまで、様々なアイテムをビスポークしてきました。
国境、そして世代を超えて受け継がれてきた職人の情熱と技術に対して大きなリスペクトを持ち、クラシックスタイルのエッセンスを大切にしながらも、それらをDRĒIPSのフィルターを通して再解釈することで新しい時代に向けたスタイルをお届けすること。また日本のアパレル生産技術を後世に残すことに貢献することをミッションに活動していきます。
なお、ブランド名であるDRĒIPSは、衣類などを優雅にまとわせる「Drape（ドレープ）」に由来する造語です。ゆったりとした優雅なドレープが、幾重にも重なることで織りなすエレガンスを表現したいと思っています。
