今日は前回に引き続き「DRĒIPSのホリゾンタルカラーシャツを美しく着る方法」について解説します。

DRĒIPSのホリゾンタルカラーシャツもワイドスプレッドカラーシャツ同様に、第1ボタンを外して着用頂くことを推奨しています。第1ボタンはあくまでネクタイをする必要性はないけれども、ちゃんとした着こなしが求められるシーンのみご利用ください。
We recommend that you leave the first button undone on DRĒIPS horizontal collar shirts, just like on wide spread collar shirts. The first button should only be used in situations where you don’t need to wear a tie, but still need to dress appropriately.
第1ボタンを外して着用頂くことで、DRĒIPSらしい、エレガントな首元のVラインをお楽しみ頂けます。
By unbuttoning the first button, you can enjoy the elegant V-line neckline that is characteristic of DRĒIPS.
後ろ襟を少し立てて頂く着こなしもまた、ホリゾンタルカラーシャツでも有効です。このようにすることでスポーティさとエレガントの両立が可能となります。
It is also effective to wear a horizontal collar shirt with the back collar turned up a little. This will give you both a sporty and elegant look.
以下は普通に着用頂いた場合に襟をサイドから見た写真。

襟を少し立てて頂くと、以下のような見え方になります。
If you raise the collar a little, it will look like the photo below.
普通に着用頂いた時と比べて襟の先が肩線より後方に流れるようになりますので、スタイリッシュさが強調されます。

逆に、もう少しドレッシーに着こなしたいと言う方には一手間はかかってしまうのですが、軽くプレスをする方法があります。DRĒIPSのシャツはシームレスな美しさを追求していることから、台襟がありません。
On the other hand, for those who want to wear it a little more dressy, there is a way to do it by ironing it lightly, although it takes a little more effort. DRĒIPS shirts do not have collar band because they pursue a seamless beauty.
台襟は襟の立ち方を美しくする機能がありますので、台襟がないことによるデメリットは襟が流れてしまう点にあります。
よって疑似的に台襟を作り出す方法が、これからご紹介する方法となります。まずは襟を裏返します。
A collar band has the function of making the collar stand up beautifully, so the disadvantage of not having one is that the collar will sag. Therefore, the method we will introduce below is a way to create a pseudo-collar band. First, turn the collar inside out.
そして襟を折ります。
And fold the collar.
この時、襟のラインをしっかりと合わせておきます。
At this time, make sure to align the collar line properly.
その後、襟の真ん中から左右に対してプレスをします。
Then, ironing from the center of the collar to the left and right.
このような感じで、しっかりとプレスしてください。
Ironing firmly like this.
注意点としては左右の端、小指一本分くらいはプレスをしないようにしてください。
One thing to note is to avoid ironing the edges, about the width of your little finger.
全てプレスしてしまうとDRĒIPSらしい美しい襟のロールが消えてしまいますので、以下の写真のように端はプレスの対象から除外します。
If you iron the entire garment, the beautiful rolled collar that is characteristic of DRĒIPS will disappear, so leave the edges unpressed, as shown in the photo below.
正しくプレスが出来ると、下記のような写真の状態となります。左右の端はプレスがされていません。
If you iron it correctly, it will look like the picture below. The left and right edges are not pressed.
このようにして着用すると台襟があるかのように襟が立ちますので、よりドレッシーなホリゾンタルカラーの表情となります。
When worn like this, the collar stands up as if it has a collar band, giving it a more dressy horizontal collar look.
事実、襟の先が肩線より前に来ていることからも襟が立っていることが分かりますね。
You can see that the collar is upright because the tip of the collar is in front of the shoulder line.

最後に、ジャケットやブルゾンにDRĒIPSのホリゾンタルカラーシャツを合わせた際に、シャツを美しく見せる方法を解説します。
Finally, we will explain how to make a DRĒIPS horizontal collar shirt look beautiful when paired with a jacket or blouson.
何もしないまま、DRĒIPSのホリゾンタルカラーシャツの上にジャケットやブルゾンを羽織って頂くと、以下のような表情となります。
If you just throw on a jacket or blouson over a DRĒIPS horizontal collar shirt without doing anything, you will get the look shown in the photo below.
この時、襟に人差し指を入れて、襟を少し上に引き上げてください。左右の襟は、どちらも同じようにします。
At this time, insert your index finger into the collar and pull the collar up a little. Do the same for both the left and right collars.
そうすると襟に立体感が生まれ、ロールが綺麗に出るようになります。
