現在、新商品の生産を行っています。当初は12月の初旬に入荷予定だったのですが、諸事情があって生産が遅れており、年内ギリギリに入るかどうかと言うところです。
We are currently engaged in the production of new products. It was originally scheduled to arrive in early December, but due to various circumstances, production has been delayed.

本日は、そんな新商品の生地についてご紹介したいと思います。
Today, we would like to introduce the fabric of such a new product.

今回の商品に用いられている生地は、世界三大綿の1つに数えられている、新疆綿の100番手双糸のストライプ生地です。ストライプ柄の商品は、DRĒIPS初の取り扱いとなります。
The fabric used in this product is a 100th twin thread striped fabric of Xinjiang cotton, which is counted as one of the world’s three major cotton. Striped products will be the first to be handled by DRĒIPS.

「新疆綿」には中国のウイグル自治区で栽培された綿花が用いらており、繊維長が長い｢超長繊維綿｣であることから、滑らかさや光沢感が強い点に特徴があります。
“Xinjiang cotton” is made from cotton grown in the Uyghur Autonomous Region of China, and is characterized by its smoothness and luster because it is “ultra-long fiber cotton” with a long fiber length.

少し前に明らかとなった人権問題等によって現在は大手アパレルを中心に利用が停止されており、入手が難しくなっていますが、今回仕入れた生地はそれらの問題以前に入荷していたものが用いられています。
Due to human rights issues that were revealed a while ago, the use of the fabric has been suspended, mainly by major apparel, and it has become difficult to obtain, but the fabrics we purchased this time are those that were in stock before those problems.

我々は生地の小さな切れ端であるスワッチを見て新商品の生地に選んだのですが、正直、かなり良いです。上品な光沢感とふっくらとした、｢超長繊維綿｣らしい滑らかな触り心地がラグジュアリー感を醸し出しています。
This is the fabric we chose this time, and it is quite good. The elegant luster and plump, smooth touch of “ultra-long fiber cotton” create a sense of luxury.

またストライプの色はブルーより濃く、ネイビーよりはやや明るさを感じるネイビーブルーで、どんな装いにも合わせやすい色合い。ストライプの幅はネイビーブルーの部分が1mmほどであるのに対して、ホワイトの部分が2.5mmほどと、ちょうど良いバランスです。
In addition, the color of the stripes is navy blue, which is darker than blue and slightly brighter than navy, and is easy to match with any outfit. The width of the stripe is about 1 mm in the navy blue part, while the white part is about 2.5 mm, which is just the right balance.

ネクタイをしない装いであったとしても、ストライプ柄ならではの動きのある表情が装いに華やかさを与えてくれると考えています。
Even if you are wearing an outfit without a tie, we believe that the moving expression unique to the striped pattern will give the outfit a gorgeous look.

もちろん生地を織っているのは、日本三大綿織物の産地である静岡県西部に位置する遠州エリアの工場です。旧式の織機を用いていることから、空気を含んだようなふっくらと仕上げが魅力的な遠州織物です。
Of course, the fabric is woven at a factory in the Enshu area, located in the western part of Shizuoka Prefecture, which is one of the three major cotton fabric production areas in Japan. Since it uses an old-style loom, it is an attractive Enshu textile with a plump finish that contains air.

有難いことに新商品のお問合せを頂いておりますが、今回も着数が限らております。特にお問合せの多いサイズは生産数を増やしましたが、それでも大手アパレルメーカーの量産品のような生産数ではございませんので、万が一売り切れの際にはご了承頂ければ幸いです。
Thankfully, we have received inquiries about new products, but the number of arrivals is limited this time as well. In particular, we have increased the number of production of sizes that are frequently inquired, but even so, the production number is not like the mass-produced products of major apparel manufacturers, so we would appreciate it if you could understand if it is sold out.
