Today, we would like to introduce you to our “Pocket Square Hand-Rolled”.

これまでDRĒIPSが展開していたポケットチーフはマシンメイドによる三巻縫製を採用していました。
Until now, the pocket squares developed by DRĒIPS used machine-rolled.

用いる生地の上質さや魅力を前面に出しつつ、ミシンによる精緻なステッチラインよるスタイリッシュさを表現しており、リラックス感がありながらも上品な雰囲気を持つDRĒIPSのシャツとのバランスを考慮して設計しました。
This is because it was designed with the balance between the stylish stitching lines of the sewing machine and the relaxed yet elegant atmosphere of the DRĒIPS shirt.

これに対してこの度、ヘムを手巻きにて縫い上げることでソフトで優しい雰囲気となる「ポケットチーフ ハンドロール」ラインを設定することと致しました。
In response to this, we have decided to set up a “Pocket Square Hand-Rolled” line that creates a soft and gentle atmosphere by hand-winding the edges of the pocket square.

DRĒIPSの「ポケットチーフ ハンドロール」は、ご自身のブランドを持つアーティストであり、職人でもある日本人の作家の方に縫製をご担当頂いています。
DRĒIPS’ “Pocket Square Hand -Rolled” is made by Japanese artists who have her own brand.

ミシンによるステッチとは異なる、手縫いならではの優しさを感じるヘムの表情。額縁仕上げによって4隅の先端に程よいボリューム感が生まれ、美しいシルエットを描きます。また細かなピッチと繊細なハンドロールはもはやアート作品と呼ぶことが出来るほどです。
Unlike stitching with a sewing machine, the expression of the edge feels gentle and unique to hand sewing. The frame finish creates a moderate sense of volume at the tips of the four corners, gives a beautiful silhouette. And the fine pitch and delicate hand-rolled can be called a work of art.

一針、一針、丁寧に縫い上げられたことが分かるハンドロールの雰囲気は、シャープさのあるミシンによる三巻縫製では出すことの出来ない魅力を醸し出しています。
The atmosphere of the hand- rolled, which shows that it has been carefully sewn, exudes a charm that cannot be achieved by three-rolled sewing with a sewing machine.
