今日は、先日販売を開始したDRĒIPSのベーシックコレクションのワイドスプレッドカラーシャツをご紹介します。
Today, we would like to introduce you to the wide-spread collar shirts from DRĒIPS’ basic collection, which we recently launched.
以前お送りした「DRĒIPS Basic Collection ワイドスプレッドカラーシャツの開発について。」と言う記事にて記述した通り、DRĒIPSのアイテムは、ブランドコンセプトである「Relax with Elegance」を表現できることを最も大切にしています。
DRĒIPS items focus on being able to express the brand concept “Relax with elegance”.
従って、ブランドの定番ラインとして位置付けているベーシックコレクションのワイドスプレッドカラーシャツはネクタイを締めなくとも、またシャツ1枚で着たとしても美しく、エレガントさがありながら、それでいてリラックスした佇まいであることを重視して開発をしました。
Therefore, the wide spread collar shirt of the Basic Collection, which is positioned as a standard line of the brand, was developed with an emphasis on being beautiful and elegant even if you wear it without a tie or with a single shirt. Also we aimed to be a relaxed appearance too.
デザイン上の大きな特徴は、シャツの顔である襟にあります。上述の通り、DRĒIPSのシャツはネクタイを締めない状態での美しさを求めていますので、一般的なシャツで言う第1ボタンは付けておらず、いわゆるワンピースカラー（イタリアンカラー/開襟シャツとも言う）のデザインを有した襟となっています。
A major feature of the design of the shirt is the collar, which is the face of the shirt. DRĒIPS shirts are designed to be beautiful without a tie, so they do not have the first button that is common in shirts, and the collar has a so-called one-piece collar design.
襟の形状は、ドレッシーな雰囲気を伴ったワイドスプレッドカラー。生地に合わせて運針（縫い目の長さ）や縫い代を調整し、エレガントさが出るような設計にしています。
The shape of the collar is a wide spread collar with a dressy atmosphere. The needle (seam length) and seam allowance are adjusted according to the fabric to create an elegant design.
また、ドレスコードが定められているビジネスシーンにも対応するよう、第1ボタンを締めて頂ければ敬意を欠くことのない品格を伴うように配慮しています。
And also, in order to respond to business situations where the dress code is stipulated, we design the shirt to have dignity that does not lack respect if you fasten the first button.
ただし、後ろ襟を少し立てて頂き、第1ボタンを開けて着て頂く着こなしが最もエレガントかつ、首元のラインが美しくなるような設計としています。TPOが許す場合は、このような着こなしをDRĒIPSは推奨しています。
However, it is designed to be worn with the back collar slightly raised and the first button open for the most elegant and beautiful neck line. DRĒIPS recommends dressing like this if the situation allows.
カフはラウンドカフを採用しています。柔らかく弧を描くことで、リラックス感を演出。
We select a round cuff design to create a relaxed feeling by drawing a soft arc.
手の甲に当たる箇所はカフをカーブさせ、身体的にもリラックスすることが出来る、馴染みの良い形状にしました。
The part that touches the back of the hand is curved, giving it a familiar shape that allows you to relax physically.
そしてビジュアル上の特徴としては、袖山、

バックヨークにたっぷりとギャザーを入れることでドレープ感を演出し、エレガントさとリラックス感を表現しています。特に夏場にはシャツ1枚で着ていただいても、絵になるような後ろ姿にデザインしました。
and back yoke are generously gathered to create a drape, expressing elegance and relaxation. Especially in the summer, even if you wear it with only a shirt, we designed it to look like a beautiful from the back.
パターンは一般的なドレスシャツに対して、肩幅、身幅をやや広めにとってあります。
The pattern has slightly wider shoulders and body width than a typical dress shirt.
肩は少し落ち気味となり、ドレスシャツが凛とした表情であるのに対して、リラックス感のある雰囲気になります。
The shoulders are a little droopy, it creates a relaxed atmosphere.
身幅にもゆとりを持たせていますので、生地のドレープ感をお楽しみ頂ければと思っています。ただし、アームホールの位置や大きさはクラシックなドレスシャツをベースにしていますので、動きやすさを損なうことはありません。
The width of the body is also roomy, so we hope you can enjoy the drape of the fabric. However, the position and size of the armholes are based on classic dress shirts, so they do not compromise the freedom of movement.
なお、裾のデザインと着丈はタックアウトしてもご利用頂けるような設計にしていますので、スタリングに合わせてタックイン、タックアウトをお選びください。
By the way, the hem design and length are designed so that you can use it even if it is tucked out, so please choose tucked in or tucked out according to styling.
最後に、生地と副資材について簡単にご説明します。
Finally, we would like to briefly explain about fabrics and secondary materials.
ベーシックコレクションのワイドスプレッドカラーシャツに用いた生地は、静岡県の西部に位置する遠州地方にて織り上げられた、遠州織物を選んでいます。昔ながらの低速のシャトル織機は生産効率こそ落ちますが、ゆっくりと織り上げることで空気を含んだような、ふっくらとした肌触りの生地に仕上がります。
The fabric used for the wide spread collar shirt of the basic collection is Japanese Enshu textile.Because it is woven using an old-fashioned loom, it is characterized by its airy softness.
今回はGIZAコットンを使って織り上げたコットン100％の平織の生地（100番手双糸/ブロード）を用いていますので、ほど良い上品な光沢感と、しっとりとした上質さを感じて頂ける点に特徴があります。
100% GIZA cotton plain weave fabric (100 count double yarn/broad) is used. This fabric is characterized by its elegant sheen and its moist quality.
更に、首に触れる襟の芯材には柔らかなガーゼ芯を用いて、リラックス感とエレガンスの両方を宿す雰囲気を重視しました。柔らかい分、ジャケットなどを着るとジャケットの重量に負けてしまいますが、そんな皺の出る表情もリラックス感として捉えて頂ければと考えています。
In addition, we select a soft gauze interlining for the core material of the collar that touches the neck, to emphasize the atmosphere of both relaxation and elegance.
そしてボタンには生地の質感に合わせて白く、透明度の高い白蝶貝を採用しました。ボタンの厚みがあると主張が強くなりますので、ボタンをとめやすく、控えめな厚さにとどめています。
And for the buttons, we used white pearl oyster shells that are white and highly transparent to match the texture of the fabric.
なお、DRĒIPSのシャツは「Relax with Elegance」と言うブランドコンセプトを表現するにあたって必須だと考える箇所には、一部手縫いを用いてます。よって洗濯の際には手洗い、またはネットに入れて洗濯をして頂きますよう、お願い致します。
Some part of the DRĒIPS shirts are hand-sewed. Therefore, when washing, please wash by hand or put it in a laundry net.
