DRĒIPSで人気のリネンシャツが、新しくなってかえってきました。
DRĒIPS’ popular linen shirt is back with a new version.
この度、新しくなったリネンシャツの販売を開始致しました。今回行ったアップデートのコンセプトは「1枚で着ても、より美しい襟へ」です。
We have recently started selling our new linen shirts. The concept behind this update is to create a more beautiful collar even when worn alone.
具体的には、襟が開いた際の襟と襟腰の繋目は見せずに、これまで通りのシームレスな美しさや上品さは維持しながらも、外側にだけ襟腰を設定することで、1枚で着たときにも今まで以上の襟立ちの良さを実現しました。
Specifically, when the collar is open, the seam between the collar and collarband is not visible, maintaining the same seamless beauty and elegance as before, but by setting the collarband only on the outside, we have achieved a collar that stands up better than ever before even when worn by itself.
一般的なドレスシャツはネクタイを前提としているため、襟立ちを良くする襟腰（襟台/台襟）が設定されています。しかしネクタイをしない状態でボタンを開けた際には襟が開き、襟と襟腰との繋目がみえてしまいます。
A typical dress shirt is designed to be worn with a tie, so it has a collarband that makes the collar stand up well. However, when the shirt is unbuttoned without a tie, the collar opens up and the seam between the collar and the collarband becomes visible.
DRĒIPSは「DRĒIPS Basic Collection ワイドスプレッドカラーシャツの開発について。」にも記載した通り、ネクタイを締めなくとも、またシャツ1枚で着たとしても美しく、エレガントさがありながら、それでいてリラックスした佇まいであることを大切にしてシャツを設計しています。
DRĒIPS designs shirts that look beautiful and elegant even when worn without a tie or just by itself, yet with a relaxed look.
そのことから第一ボタンを設定せず、また襟が開いた際に繋ぎ目が見えることが無いようにワンピースカラーのパターンを採用しています。これによって繋目が表に出ることがない美しさと、またリラックス感をも感じさせる襟の雰囲気に仕上がっています。
For this reason, we have not set a first button and have adopted a one-piece collar pattern so that the seams are not visible when the collar is open. This results in a beautiful collar with no visible seams between the collar and collarband, as well as a relaxed feel to the collar.
ただし、この仕様には欠点もありました。それは、シャツ1枚で着た際に襟が流れる（立体感が弱まる）傾向があること。そこでこれを解決するために、外側にのみ襟腰を設定することで、襟立ちの良さを表現しました。
However, this design also had a drawback: the collar had a tendency to sag when worn alone (reducing the three-dimensional effect). To solve this problem, we designed the collarband to set only on the outside, allowing the collar to stand up nicely.
これまでは以下のように、襟腰の設定がありませんでした。
Until now, there was no collarband, as shown below.
ワンピースカラーのため、内側に繋目はでていません。
Since it is a one-piece collar, there are no seams on the inside.
この仕様の場合には繋目のない美しさとリラックス感は表現できますが、襟の立体感には欠けてしまいます。
This specification achieves the beauty of a seamless design and a relaxed feel, but it lacks the three-dimensional look of the collar.
そこで今回のアップーデートでは、外側にのみ襟腰を設定。
Therefore, in this update, the collarband is only set on the outside.
ワンピースカラーは維持していますので、内側に繋ぎ目がでることはありません。
The one-piece color is maintained, so there are no visible seams on the inside.
これによってシャツ1枚で着用した際にも、これまでに比べると襟の立ち方が良くなり、美しさが増しました。
This makes the collar stand up better and looks more beautiful when worn alone.
言わなければ気づかないような小さなことですし、現状のパターンにおける襟の美しさとリラックス感とのバランス感も良いと思っているのですが、より美しい、より上品でリラックス感のあるシャツを目指してアップデートしました。
It’s a small thing that you wouldn’t notice unless we mentioned it.
And we think also the current pattern has a good balance between the beauty of the collar and the relaxed feel, but we updated it to create a shirt that is even more beautiful, elegant, and has a more relaxed feel.
入荷したのは2カラー。まずは、DRĒIPS初となるブラウン系のトープ。
Two colors have arrived. The first is the brown-based taupe, which is a first for DRĒIPS.
グレーとブラウンを混ぜたような色合いで、カジュアルカラーながら落ち着いた雰囲気が魅力的です。
The color is a mix of gray and brown, and although it is a casual color, it has an attractive, calm atmosphere.
生地はヨーロッパ原料のリネンを使用し、浜松で生地を織りあげてる遠州織物（タケミクロス製）の60番手のリネンを使用。遠州独自の技術を持つ職人が手作業で染色し、遠州地方独特の強風と天日干しにて仕上げていますので、奥深い色合いとシワ感が魅力的な生地となっています。
The fabric is made of 60yarn-count linen from Enshu Textiles, which is woven in Hamamatsu using linen sourced from Europe. It is dyed by hand by craftsmen with unique Enshu techniques and finished in the strong winds and sun drying that are unique to the Enshu region, resulting in an attractive fabric with deep colors and a wrinkled texture.
なお、手作業による染色かつ小ロット生産の生地のために色ブレがあったり、シワ部分に染料拠り(カミナリ状の色ムラ）がある場合がありますが、自然の風合いとしてお楽しみ頂ければと思います。
Please note that because the fabric is dyed by hand and produced in small batches, there may be some color variation and dye marks in the wrinkled areas (lightning-like color unevenness), but we hope you will enjoy it as part of the natural texture.
そして2つ目の色は、ダークブルッシュグリーン。
The second color is a dark brushed green.
昨年展開したイエローオリーブよりもシックな色あいで、グリーンにブルーとグレーが混ざったような色合いです。
It is a more chic color than the yellow olive color launched last year, a mix of green, blue and gray.
ライトカラーの色合いが多くなる春夏の装いに、落ち着きと大人っぽさを与える、とても美しい色だと感じています。
We feel that it is a beautiful color that gives a sense of calm and maturity to spring and summer outfits, which tend to have more light colours.
今期は中間色であるグレーを意識したカラーで展開しています。
This season, we are offering a color palette that emphasizes gray, a neutral color.
トープとダークブルッシュグリーンの色の違いは、下記のような感じです。向かって左側がダークブルッシュグリーンで、右がトープです。
The difference between the colors of taupe and dark brushed green is as follows: The left side is dark brushed green, and the right side is taupe.
下がダークブルッシュグリーン、上がトープ。
The bottom is dark brushed green and the top is taupe.
上がトープで下がダークブルッシュグリーンです。
The top is taupe and the bottom is dark brushed green.
ナチュラルな色合いはコーディネートにおいても取り入れやすく、1枚でのご着用はもちろん、お手持ちのジャケットやブルゾンなどにも合わせやすいと思います。
The natural colours make it easy to coordinate with other items, and can be worn on its own or paired with a jacket or blouson you already own.
