DRĒIPSのスタイルのベースにあるのは、私が愛してやまないクラシックスタイル。
国境と世代を超えて受け継がれてきた、大人の男性が着るべき服の基本がそこには存在すると考えています。

The DRĒIPS style is based on the classic style that I love. I believe that classic styles have the basics of clothing that gentlemen should wear, which have been passed down across borders and generations.

しかし時代は変わりました。

But times have changed.

仕事において男性がスーツやジャケット、ネクタイを着用することは必須ではなくなり、より動きやすく、快適で、リラックスしたスタイルが一般化してきています。

It is no longer mandatory for men to wear suits, jackets and ties at work, and a more mobile, comfortable, and relaxed style is becoming more common.

そして、これまで当たり前であったクラシックスタイルは、当たり前ではなくなり、”特別な日の装い”へと変わりつつあります。

もちろん、私がリスペクトするクラシックスタイルが完全になくなることはないと考えていますし、私自身、これからもクラシックスタイルを楽しんでいきたいとも思っています。

それでも時代、そして社会環境の変化に合わせて、大人の男性がリラックスした心地良さとエレガントさ、そして美しさを内包した装いを心から楽しむことが出来るように、クラシックの持つ普遍的な美しさを今の時代の空気感とDRĒIPSのフィルターを通して再解釈したスタイルで表現していきたい。そのように考えています。
